User-friendly interface
You can create albums, tag photos, and search for specific images in PhotoScape quickly. This is very helpful for managing a photo library. Personally, I can say that these features simplified photo organization on Mac and allowed me to find the needed images for Instagram in no time.
Batch photo processing
This is very handy if you need to resize or convert a couple of images at the same time. With PhotoScape X for Mac, you can select several photos and set the required parameters for conversion. It preserves the quality of images and sometimes even improves them. This has saved me a lot of time when preparing images for use on various social media platforms.
Photo sharing
PhotoScape X for Mac simplifies the process of sharing photos with others. Editing a specific image is as simple as opening it in the software to view layouts and manage shared content. I appreciate this function a lot, as I can edit and share my photos across various platforms seamlessly without the need to switch between applications.
Various filters and effects
This program also provides a number of filtering and effecting options to add creative touches to the images. From the vintage filters to artistic effects, the software offers lots of variants to make your images interesting. I think these filters and effects are great for creating unique and eye-catching content for my Instagram feed.
Limited editing capabilities when working with RAWs
Being a portrait photographer, I often shoot in RAW to have more freedom during image post-processing. However, PhotoScape X isn’t a full-fledged RAW photo editor considering the limited functionality for editing RAW image. This is why I cannot make necessary adjustments and reach the desirable result. Sometimes it may be very irritating and time wasting to log out from the application, which you are currently running, and go to another one where it is possible to work with a RAW file.
No support for Apple's Photos app
I produce content in the form of photos for various social media platforms, such as Instagram, and I rely on Apple's Photos app for organizing and managing my entire photo library. Unfortunately, PhotoScape X for Mac dos not support this app, no integration at all. It’s so annoying especially when you’re improving a lot of RAW photos. This is very inconvenient for me as well, as I have to manually import and export images in two different applications.
