Working as a math teacher, I discovered that Adobe Captivate is an excellent choice for creating educational content with high-quality multimedia elements that make it more appealing to students. I like using Adobe Captivate for free as it allows me to save money and make students’ learning experience more interactive. Due to this, I improve the learning process by adding engaging materials and all these free of charge.
Thanks to the responsive design support, my materials look the same on devices with screens of different sizes, which improves their accessibility and saves me time as I do not have to optimize the educational content for different devices. This e-learning software also enables me to analyze students’ performance and provides useful insights on their progress.

Personalized learning experience
Using interactive assessment tools enabled me to provide my students with tips on how they can improve their studies. Offering personalized feedback allowed me to tailor my teaching approach to ensure that each student comprehends the material and is fully engaged in the learning process.
Improved motivation
Due to an increased usage of multimedia elements, I engaged my students, increased their motivation, and demonstrated that math could be an interesting subject. For instance, gamified quizzes and exercises with interactive elements helped my students focus on their studies.
Time-saving tools
Using the available multimedia tools, I record my lessons in advance and spend more time with my students discussing class materials and participating in various activities. Time optimization helped me make my teaching process more effective and avoid using third-party instructional design software.
Data-based insights
I can know the performance of all my students through the analysis of data Captivate has. It gives me the capability to know whether the students grasped the information; thus, I can adjust my teaching strategy to ensure they all understand the content well which is super cool. I get reports on the performance, and therefore the software is more or less like a data analytics platform.
Expensive
This Adobe software is quite pricey, which makes it a hardly suitable option for budget-conscious users like me. However, Adobe Captivate free trial limitations make this version hardly useful. I realized that I needed to purchase a paid version to access basic tools. I have decided that it might be better to use alternatives with comparable toolsets that come at budget prices. Using them, I can create engaging educational materials for my students without getting broke.
Difficult to install
I faced some difficulties when trying to install Adobe Captivate on my laptop. Due to some technical problems, I wasn’t able to run the software after installing it. As I did not have a lot of time and had to create educational materials for my students quickly, it was a major inconvenience. I had to wait until the issues were resolved to proceed.
