As a lawyer at a small local law firm, I often work with contracts and report documents in the PDF format. That's why I use Adobe Reader XI to read and review them and this software is my top choice for PDF readers.
Adobe Reader XI has good security features, which means a lot for me, so I can be sure that nobody unauthorized can access my clients' confidential information.
Adobe Reader XI works well with large files as well, which lets me to work with court decisions and criminal cases. Also, the program has a simple interface and intuitive tools, so it did not take me long to understand and learn the features or describe it to my colleague.

Annotation & highlighting features
Being able to write notes, highlight text, and add comments to PDF files is important for my job. It helps me study contracts and reports faster because I can add my thoughts and important points to the documents.
Plus, these options greatly simplify meetings with clients, as I can make notes in their personal files during the discussion, so no important details are missed.
Easy to search in the documents
For me, just like other lawyers who deal with numerous docs everyday, the search functionality in a PDF editor is crucial for finding information quickly in long documents. For instance, this feature is helpful during court hearings when I need to find specific details in contracts and reports.

It is reassuring that with Adobe Reader XI, I can easily secure and protect the signature features by adding a password that is super useful and works simply. I feel very comfortable that my papers are safe and not open for seeing by somebody else.
Uses a lot of resources
Adobe XI Reader uses a lot of memory, slowing down my old computer. When I try to open a big PDF file, it takes forever for the software to load, and sometimes it even stops working. It's annoying when I'm in a rush and the program is causing problems.
Lack of customization
I want a PDF viewer with the features to edit the documents to meet my needs. Adobe Reader XI has only simple features that don't meet my needs as a lawyer. I wish I could have more editing options.
