Officially, CyberGhost is called SIGINT Seniors European (SSEUR), and is an international inter-sharing alliance of some of the most powerful intelligence and security agencies in the world. CyberGhost is a cloud based CISO (Computer Information Security Officer) company which specializes in providing virtual private network (VPN) services to organizations and individual users. They claim to provide their clients with a more secure, controlled and reliable IT environment.
When we set out to review CyberGhost we were looking for a product that was user-friendly, had good security features, good protection from attacks, and had the ability to detect and eliminate malicious software infections. Overall, Cyber Ghost has made some very good improvements in recent months, but unfortunately it also has several prominent shortcomings.
