I have been engaged in graphic design for quite a long time, creating TV shows, commercials, movie effects, and other media. My go-to instrument for work is Adobe After Effects 2017. This powerful motion graphics software is popular among many users, who want to produce efficient content without wasting many hours on learning. It is available both online and offline.

GPU-based acceleration
Thanks to GPU acceleration, my rendering process has become much faster. Now, I can create complicated visual effects with ease. Due to higher speeds, I can finish my projects on time without compromising quality.
Real-time editing
I like that I can see how my visual effects are changing in real-time. Thus, I can make quick adjustments and improve my designs for a particular look without revising them several times. Adobe After Effects CC 2017 is very helpful in this regard, since I never miss deadlines with this program’s version.
Essential graphics panel
Similar to many After Effects alternatives, this program contains all the basic tools and controls for making unique motion graphics and customizing them. The interface is very understandable. Besides, users can take advantage of integration with CC apps.
Possibility to use plugins
I like that it’s possible to extend the functionality of the software with third-party plugins. They are very useful for creative experiments. For instance, users can add new effects, transitions, or tools. Besides, it is possible to customize workflow and achieve unique visual effects to stand out from the crowd.
Difficult to learn
Even though I've been creating motion graphics for many years, I still have to spend time to master Adobe 2017 After Effects. For example, grasping advanced animations and keyframe manipulations can be tough, especially for beginners regardless of versions of After Effects. It takes a lot of time and effort to learn these processes.
Subscription-based software
To my mind, Adobe After Effects 2017 is rather expensive, considering that you have to pay for the program every month. As a motion graphic designer, I use it on a regular basis for different tasks, so I can’t just pay for it for 1 month and then cancel my subscription. Besides, if I need other tools from the company, the costs increase greatly.
