Gordon Jackson is known for his concert photography and portrait photography works. He is also open to any kind of creative experiments. Even though Gordon hasn’t been working in the digital photo sphere for long, he is already a reputable shooter, praised for the ability to reflect the essence of the moment in shots.
In 2012, Jackson Gordon graduated with a degree in contemporary photography from Mid-Cheshire College. In 2011-2013, he was working as the in-house shooter for Sound Control City Center in Manchester.
Before becoming a photographer, Gordon Jackson had the job of a camera and digital assistant for more than 4 years. Earlier, Gordon was working in a rental department but then realized that he is passionate about art.
Gordon cooperated with numerous famous photographers, agencies and production companies, for instance, BBC, photographing Manchester Introducing, Friends of Mine Festival and Manchester International Festival regularly. His shots can be found on such websites as BBC and The Guardian.
Photographer Gordon Jackson says that he uses Think Tank Production 50 Case to protect his small and large lighting gear at the concerts when the crowd is everywhere.
