Her latest endeavors include experimenting with videography and creative art direction. Among her clients, you will find such big names as Siegel, Baartmans, INDCSN, Velvel Johnstone and the rock band The New York Dolls. Her model photography style can be best characterized as editorial fashion photography.

However, it is definitely not your usual fashion. Anna Victoria Best mostly uses a film camera and then ages the photographs to make them look a bit worn out and faded as if they have been lying around for decades. In her portfolio, you will find classical fashion portraits and intriguing nude works with unusual model poses.

Some of the ideas she used in her sports photoshoots are quite unexpected and very memorable. I would characterize her work as ‘strange but beautiful’. Anna Victoria Best is currently working with the illustrator Nikki Farquharson.

Together they have created the Mixed Media Maidens, a new extraordinary artistic project that combines Farquharson’s illustrations with Anna Best editorial photography and her outstanding vision. What they get as a result are amazingly beautiful and unusual advertising images.
