Sodanie Chea lives and works mostly in LA, taking fashion and commercial photography but also some portrait photography and editorial photography as well. Even though she studied fashion design in FIDM, photography became her profession.

Nevertheless, she didn’t limit herself to that and took a course at Cypress College and did some charity work at EventVolunteer. Over10 years of her shooting experience, Sodanie developed a special interest in lighting and the ways it can be used to add drama.

In one of the interviews, Sodanie Chea photographer described how she started with self portrait photography primarily because she had very few photos but at the end it greatly influenced her later works with models.
