Elena Myko BIO

Elena Myko was born in Kyiv (Ukraine). Her real name is Elena Lozina. She lived in Paris for a long time and then moved to the USA. Today, Elena Myko is one of the best shooters in Washington DC in interior photography. She speaks English, French, Russian and Spanish. Myko graduated from Boston University where she studied portrait photography and videography. From 2012 to 2014, she worked as an AV technician at the International Monetary Fund. Besides, she has experience in directing documentaries. Elena Myko is known not only as a skillful real estate shooter but also as a model who realizes amazing portrait photography ideas.

She feels comfortable behind the camera as well as in front of it. In the period from 2013 to 2016, Elena owned a photo company called Myko Productions. In 2014, she cooperated with the biggest brokerages in the DC area and entered the local market showing a creative approach to architectural and real estate photography. As a result, there appeared SonderWorks Company. Elena is CEO and Creative Director there.

SonderWorks is a real estate marketing firm. It is located in Arlington area, VA and provides services in the neighboring DMV regions. Its specialization is delivering marketing and branding services to real estate brokerages in Washington DC. It offers HDR real estate photography, high-end real estate photography, floor plans, and 3D Real estate photography, full-stack web and print branding services, etc. Being interested in psychology, Elena Myko has written a book entitled “A Study in Self”.

In her work, she compares the inner world of a person with the outer one. Myko asked nine subjects to tell about their insecurities, fears, and mental crutches and show them in front of the camera.
