is a photographer from California who knows how to enhance photos
She studied at The Art Institute of Colorado and got the Bachelor Degree of Arts in Photography. Mariah has been working as a portrait photographer
for more than 6 years.
She used to work as a Residential Assistant at the student housing and in the printing center at Office Depot. She also volunteered at the Denver Art Museum. When Mariah was 19, she already had her photos published worldwide.
Her creative photography works appeared in The Spectrum, St. George Magazine, Elan magazine Los Cabos Magazine and Mexconnect which is the most famous website on Mexico and Mexican culture.
In one of the interviews, she said that she expresses her artistic vision not only in double exposure photography
but in other things too. She doesn’t like long walks on the beach and prefers skipping instead. In her opinion, being positive is the most important “habit” in life. She says if you are nice and kind towards other people, it will always make your days better and improve your mood.
Her ideal occupation is working for a magazine and freelancing. Even though her main specialty is food photography, she doesn’t want to work only in this genre. Now Mariah works in portrait photography
too. She also considers working in a gallery and would like to do more Photo Essay work. Besides, she says she could be on the back end of some photography like the production side.
While Mariah was studying photography at the Art Institute of Portland, she took a six-month trip to Mexico and volunteered for Grupo Tortuga for a week. This is an organization that rescues baby sea turtles.
One of the greatest examples of Mariah Baumgartle photography is a picture of Olive Ridley turtles that hatched on Las Playitas Beach in Todos Santos, Baja California Sur, Mexico right before the volunteers let them go to the ocean.
While she was at the turtle camp, she gathered more than 1000 eggs that were put in incubation pens. In 45 days these turtles hatched and were released to the ocean.
These kinds of turtles are "threatened" according to the U.S. Federal Endangered Species Act. In the world, they are considered "endangered" by the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources. Mariah also has a YouTube channel full of her vlogs.
