Look though my overview of two online companies for photographers as Photofix and FixThePhoto about their services, results’ quality, discounted prices, and additional services.
PhotoFix (FotoFix) is a company that provides retouching services online. Here you can order any photo correction for wedding, newborn, animal, landscape pictures or even photo restoration.
The prices are generated accordingly to the complicity of work: Basic, Advanced, Photo-Art and Premium. Keep in mind that you will pay with credits that you should purchase in advance. Therefore, the price for 1 photo varies from 1 to 15 credits.
Photofix Examples
At first sight, Fotofix provided numerous examples of their work and took care to divide them into categories. You will find such sections as Family, People and Model, Travel and Tourism, For Sale, Social Networking, Custom and Creative Additions, Camera setting corrections.
Each will further be divided into more subcategories with the intention to make it easier for potential customers to find what they need. As it is, though, the catalog of examples is confusing and overwhelming.
If you look at the examples themselves, you will find that they can’t be zoomed in. This is always a bad sign, marking that the specialists don’t want you to notice the flaws.

PhotoFix Testimonials
Another page is entirely devoted to Fotofix reviews from the former clients who received their orders. I made a point of scanning through all of them only to find that they are 100% positive which undoubtedly means they are fake.
Doing that is unethical, to say the least.
Photofix: How It Works?

Step 1. Create an account
You need to either register with your email or use Google, Facebook or Yahoo id to create an account.
Step 2. Upload a photo

Step 4. Checkout
Check that you have enough credits for the task you ordered and if not, purchase them. Specify the payment method and wait until the job is done.

The two companies show similarity in their work but each has some distinctive features. Here are the main points broken down.
Price: The pricing scheme of Photofix is rather confusing and inconvenient. Why would you even add an extra step with those credits?
FixThePhoto uses a traditional system that’s immediately understood. Start comparing prices and you will see that their services are also more reasonably priced and you even get various discounts like a Fotofix coupon.
Service: FixThePhoto offers numerous services among which are: body retouching, real estate editing, portrait, wedding photo retouching, photo restoration etc. All in all, you will get images that look professional and natural.
Unfortunately, FotoFix can’t boast of many services. The list of their services is quite limited and includes standard ones.
Freebies: FixThePhoto is not scared to sell you professional services and at the same time give you high-quality tools for Lightroom and Photoshop. The various effects are divided into sections so that you can easily find what you’re interested in. Their quality speaks better than anything about the talents of their retouches.
Fotofix only gives you 1 free credit for registering at their system and that is only enough for the basic service level for one photo.
Quality: If you address FixThePhoto, you can be sure that the best digital artists will work with your shots. In FixThePhoto you can pick the level and any extra services you need. Furthermore, you can order additional services.
The gallery of their samples is pretty impressive. They break down all of the changes made and you can easily zoom into the photos.
Looking at the samples at Photofix website should make you think twice whether to address this company.

Discount and Prices
At PhotoFix, you will have to pay with credits. One credit costs approximately $1.59. Why approximately? Because you may buy only 5, 15, 30 credits and more.
For one picture, you will pay 1, 5, 10 or 15 credits or $1.59, $7.95, $15.99, $22.95.
FixThePhoto has an easier procedure. In most cases, the price for the photo will be lower, but even if it is higher, the spectrum of the service will be more extended.
In general, prices vary from $0.50 up to $25 per one picture.
If you need simple color correction or basic work, you will usually pay $2 for it. But keep in mind that the bigger number of services means a lower price.
As for the discounts, they are offered at both retouching services and that’s cool.
At FixThePhoto, big orders, regardless of the type of picture editing, receive a nice bonus from 15% up to 50% off.
PhotoFix, in its turn, offers discounts not on their services but on credits purchase. Thus, making an order from 30 to 1000 credits, you can get from 5% to 25% discount.
