It offers five different levels of services: Color Correction, Deluxe Edits, Premium Edits, Retouching and Signature Edits. To order Evolve photography services, firstly, you need to create an account. Fill in personal info, approve the registration, which isn’t a long process, and you are all set. Go to the member’s section, where you can make orders, upload pictures, view history, etc.

Evolve Edits Services

Once you have sent the pictures, retouchers get to work. The first step of Evolve editing is color correction. Tweaking sliders in Lightroom, retouchers fix shadows, highlights, improve exposure, contrast and the skin tone.

The Deluxe Edit is the second level of work. It involves further enhancement of the picture, namely, skin softening with the help of the Dodge and Burn tool.

For an even better result, you can order the Premium Edit. This level consists of texture overlays, the dodge and burning technique, skin softening, usage of HDR, black and white or vignette effects.

The highest level at Evolve Edits is Signature Edits. It is focused on creating a real masterpiece for clients. The founder, Sal Cincotta, is in charge of Signature edits, directing every step of the process.

As soon as the picture is approved by Sal, the team of professional retouchers starts perfecting it. Signature Edits involve image retouching, body-swapping, straightening, toning, objects removal; and cropping.

Social Media Management

The company also offers a social media management service. However, it is provided exclusively to Premiere Evolve Services members.

Quality: When ordering at FixThePhoto, you are free to select the type of post-production, for instance, product, wedding, portrait, etc. I like it that different editors do different types of editing, since you obviously can’t be proficient in everything and different types of editing require different approaches.

At Evolve Edits, there is just a division into levels. With such high prices, the quality could be better. FixThePhoto delivers top-notch results and charges less.

If we compare the Evolve Edits and FixThePhoto prices for such services like culling, color correction and basic picture retouching – they are very similar. I can even say that they are the same. But after that, the situation changes.

While in FixThePhoto the price for image retouching is $5- $10 per photo, in Evolve Edits pricing is more expensive – $70 per hour. The most expensive service of the latter company will cost you $150, and in FixThePhoto – $100. But the picture post-processing here is more complicated and takes 2 or more hours.
