I decided to start looking for the best Zowie mouse because my previous gaming mouse was not so convenient and the responsiveness was not on top.
BenQ Zowie mice are considered to be one of the most widely used mice currently available on the market due to their robust construction and convenient shell design.
After testing many mouse models, I decided to check the performance of several products of the BenQ Zowie mice lineup, including the EC1-C, FK2-C, S2, ZA13-C, and the wireless EC1-CW. Each of these mice is unique and has special features, but all of them are designed to perform a single task: enhancing the gaming experience by providing excellent functionality and comfort.
These mice stand out with their ergonomic design, so users can forget about hand fatigue even when working or playing games for a long time. Their sensors are precise, so accurate movement is guaranteed.
BenQ Zowie EC1-C
The BenQ Zowie EC1-C is widely regarded as the best Zowie mouse available on the market today. This model has an ergonomic design to ensure a high level of comfort during long gaming sessions.
I carefully tested Zowie mice and described their pros and cons, grip style, and special features.
I wanted to find a model that offers an ergonomic design, accurate sensor technology, robust build quality to endure long hours of operation, as well as customizable options like configurable DPI settings.
The selected models are available in different price ranges, starting from $45 to $150.
DPI: 400 to 3200 | Interface: Wired | Buttons: 5 | Ergonomic: Right-handed
BenQ Zowie EC1-C comes within the EC-C Series, which has three sizes. I required a large model for my setup, and this one was an ideal fit. Its unique construction makes the mouse suitable for righties with large hands. I used both palm and claw grips, and the level of comfort and responsiveness was on top.
I can connect BenQ Zowie EC1-C to a laptop or gaming PC using the USB. Paracord cable is one of the highlights of this model, as it allows users not to worry about constant dragging or pulling on the surface, enjoying the freedom of movement. This is a considerable benefit for gamers who prefer fast-paced sessions, where every millisecond matters.
This product comes with 5 buttons, including a button for switching the resolution of the sensor.
The position of the side buttons is perfect, so the chances that a user will click them accidentally are minimal. Such a design was developed to eliminate unintentional inputs, which is pivotal during intense gameplay. In addition, there is the concave curve on the right side, which is designed to help a gamer hold the mouse with all fingers tightly and worry-free without any strain.

Being a part of the FK-C, the Zowie FK2-C comes in three sizes: extra-large, large, and medium. The last one perfectly satisfied my gaming needs, so I chose this variant. This device is suitable for both right-handed and left-handed people. It delivers a high level of comfort during use.
This low-profile mouse has a symmetrical, right-handed design and is quite lightweight. Fitted with a 24-step scroll wheel, so you won’t feel any discomfort when using it. I prefer a palm grip, but this model is also suitable for grip users very well.
Optimized for FPS, the 3360 Optical sensor has 4 configurable DPI levels (400/800/1600/3200) and a customizable polling rate (125/500/1000Hz), and you won’t need to install any additional software. Such a high flexibility level allows fine-tuning the mouse to my exact needs and wishes. This model is an ideal mouse for graphic design.
The FK2-C is quite popular among gamers and is considered one of the best options for eSports players. Whether you are a claw or palm-grip user, you can experience the power of total control in your hand due to the low-profile design of the mouse. The body of the mouse is extremely easy to cover with all fingertips, so moving the cursor to the desired spot is a no-brainer.

I tried out the BenQ Zowie S2 mouse recently and I would like to tell you a few words about my experience. This model is available in two sizes: medium and small - S1-C and S2-C. I chose the Small size for my setup. Although it is pretty large, BenQ Zowie S2 is a light mouse that is popular among gamers. Due to the high back bump, it provides a tailored fit for any hand.
I liked its ambidextrous design, and the side buttons are easy to find and easy to reach. The cable mount point is raised at an angle to prevent the cable from dragging on the pad.
BenQ Zowie S2 has a symmetrical design and mid-profile structure, which is very convenient. Besides, it is not so long, so you’ll get additional space for the palm for freer vertical movement. All these make this model more comfortable and easier to control. I also like to use this mouse for video editing.
BenQ Zowie S2 isn’t the best option for those who are on the lookout for a portable mouse since you can’t reprogram inputs and connect it wirelessly to the computer. Nevertheless, it is a decent choice among many Zowie gaming mice thanks to its low click latency and tactile feedback.

As for me, BenQ Zowie ZA13-C has excellent performance and is a decent mouse for FPS gaming. Two thumb buttons on both sides are easy to identify just by touch, which is very convenient during the gameplay. The ZA13-C is available in small, medium, and large sizes.
Other features that characterize this mouse model are symmetrical, right-handed, high-profile design, a small weight, and a 24-step scroll wheel, which make it more functional and convenient to use. I prefer a palm grip, but claw grip users will be also satisfied with ZA13-C.
Being a budget-friendly product, BenQ Zowie ZA13 attracts me with its exceptional quality. It doesn’t have button latency but can boast a stylish design, first-class tracking, and consistent tactile feedback.
The ZA13-C is designed to provide users with both competitive and comfortable performance. This model also works as a CAD mouse. It is delivered with a one-year warranty, as well as additional mouse feet, which contributes to its longevity.
All these features make the model the best Zowie mouse in this price range.

The BenQ Zowie EC1-CW has a symmetrical and ergonomic design, which allows holding my right hand in a natural position. The mouse is available in three sizes, which makes them an ideal option for different hand shapes and preferences. Low click latency and superior all-around sensor performance make this model even more appealing for gamers. However, this mouse is weightier than many other FPS-focused products, so you might have trouble moving it quickly and accurately.
Designed for palm grip users, the body of the mouse has a natural curve for the hand to ensure that the palm and finger are relaxed. Users who typically hold the mouse with the claw grip curl their fingers together and the lower palm provides the support; the curved back of the mouse ensures that the lower palm is tightly connected to the surface for a better grip.
This is one of the heavy gaming mice that has a wireless design and when combined with the enhanced receiver provides stable and top-level performance. The absence of wires means no lags or delays, which is pivotal for intensive gameplays. Docking the mouse is a no-brainer, as most other wireless docks are often finicky. So, you won’t have trouble charging or using the mouse.

Additional Buttons
To facilitate the gaming process, you should pick the mouse with additional buttons. It also should include a thumb control for hassle-free gameplay. Although Zowie mice offer the ability to customize speed, sensitivity, and other parameters, they don't provide an adjustable spring button and tension system or weight.
Wired or Wireless
Unlike ordinary computer mice, those designed for gaming purposes are wired. This is mainly because the USB ensures a more stable and more responsive connection with low input lag. However, even a simple wireless mouse can have an input delay of a few hundredths of a second, which is below the response time threshold of the majority of people.
The strongest upside of wired connectivity is that non-mobile devices can be rather challenging to find. Wireless mice are marketed with custom, speedy connectivity, meaning they are more expensive than regular models.
Software Customization Feature
Each good Zowie mouse comes with the software. It may be included in the kit with compatibility for other gaming peripherals or released as a standalone package. With the help of mouse software, you can assign mouse buttons to perform different commands and adjust RGB illuminations, and DPI levels. The latter option is especially essential since it lets you customize the sensitivity of your mouse for fast and accurate tracking.
Some advanced mice have on-the-fly buttons to adjust the necessary parameters. Also, mouse software allows you to change macros for buttons and create custom profiles for a particular game. You can always adjust settings to the necessary degree.
Another useful feature you should consider is the ability to save profiles directly to a mouse memory. Thus, you can plug the mouse into another computer and use the same settings for your game.
Grip Style
Sensor Type
To choose the right sensor type, consider your gaming needs. Zowie mice are known for their optical sensors that are precise and responsive. Select a DPI (dots per inch) range that satisfies your gaming needs: high sensitivity is better for fast movements, whereas lower sensitivity ensures precise aiming.
Design and Ergonomics
It is also important to take into account the design and ergonomics of the mouse. For instance, some users prefer blue gaming mice. Zowie mice stand for their minimalist design and ergonomics, so the hands can stay relaxed during many hours of use.
BenQ Zowie ZA13 is considered to be the best Zowie mouse for CSGO.
Zowie mice are popular for their versatility concerning shape and grip sizes. Even though this brand has some disadvantages, you can still enhance your gaming experience by picking the right mouse.

Yes, Zowie mice are not only designed for gaming but also for other purposes like general computing tasks. As they are precise and have an ergonomic design, they are suitable for different applications other than gameplay. For instance, this is an excellent mouse for photo editing.
