When searching for the best FPS mouse, you need to take into account such parameters as design, features and price.
Design matters the most since you will be using the mouse on a daily basis and it is supposed to sit comfortably in the palm of your hand.
I suggest that you try holding a mouse before you decide to purchase it. If you don’t have such an opportunity, think of the appropriate size of a mouse (big or small one, with a higher or lower profile), the right number of buttons you need and so on.
Among such features are wireless connectivity, regulated weights, RGB lighting and swappable elements. But mind that you will have to pay more for an extensive feature-set. A wireless model with swappable elements can be sold at a price of up to $150. A smaller mouse with a couple of extra buttons and a few lights may cost $30 or less, depending on how new the model is.
If you want to save money on gaming mice for FPS, get a model from an older generation. Note that I’m not talking about a used mouse here. When a newer version of the mouse is released, the previous one, which is actually no worse, is sold at a reduced price.

A heavyweight gaming mouse is more difficult to accelerate and decelerate, but it provides greater precision with higher sensitivities. As for a lightweight gaming mouse, it moves faster and is more precise with lower sensitivities.
Most of them use a DPI setting in the range of 400-800.
