I decided to download Kinemaster to try out its feature set and see if it was intuitive enough to suit my content creation needs for my fashion-focused YouTube channel. As I don’t have a lot of experience enhancing my footage on my own, I needed a video editing app that offered tools for improving the look of my content, enhancing the sound, and adding text when needed. Thankfully, Kinemaster came with all the features I wanted.
I am a huge fan of the recording my voice for TikToks with the help of this app because it’s super easy. Add the provided mobile support which allows me to edit my fashion videos when I’m at a café or on my way by plane to any state; this is great because now I do not wish to be attached to my computer the whole day.
Although it was a mobile app at the beginning, now it is operable on a PC, which makes most of the tools more convenient to use — both in my studio and at home.

Convenient features for handling routine tasks
The availability of standard editing features like cropping, tripping, and text has done wonders for streamlining the video publishing process for me. For instance, I frequently employ the cropping tool to get rid of distracting objects in the backdrop of my fashion videos, while the text tool helps me write captions to make the video presentable and easier to understand for my audience.
Allows capturing video and audio
I frequently use Kinemaster to capture video and sound in real-time, especially when it comes to my lifestyle content. This is like a YouTube shorts app that lets me conveniently tweak the recording parameters on the go, without skipping a beat. This is very helpful when I visit a fashion show and want to publish a video of it on my channel immediately, without wasting time on sound production and in-depth editing.
High-resolution footage support
To save my videos in the max resolution is of prior importance, as I would like my viewers to realize that I am a professional who only posts content of the best quality. This means I can even export footage in 4K, which keeps me on the leading edge in the fashion content creation industry for a long while. And thanks, this app edits this format without quality loss.
Integrated asset library
Kinemaster lets me apply a wide selection of effects and filters to my videos, achieving a variety of distinct visual styles. I can use anything from vintage film effects to beautiful transitions, as this video editor for Android is perfectly suited for producing eye-catching content that engages my audience and keeps them invested.
Small number of pro editing features
As a fashion YouTuber, I frequently need to use layering to ensure my videos look as good as possible. Sadly, after my Kinemaster download was finished and I launched the software, I noticed it doesn’t have some of the pro-level features included in premium video editors for YouTube. Such restrictions have at times stopped me from creating the type of polished videos that my channel is known for.
Free edition applies watermarks
When I was still on the trial version of Kinemaster, I was annoyed by the watermarks added to my videos, which made them look very amateurish. Since fashion is my game, I can’t afford to have the quality of my content brought down by random watermarks. If you're like me, I recommend either getting the paid version or looking for different video editing software with no watermark, which you can get for free if your budget doesn’t allow investing in professional tools for now.
