As a photographer, I dare to name the best engagement photo locations in Utah with varied backdrops to capture intimate and memorable moments. Utah is an amazing place full of stunning spots for organizing photo sessions in different styles and any season.
Here you can enjoy the beauty of Bonneville Salt Flats, the lush landscapes of Big Cottonwood Canyon, colorful Mona Lavender Fields, the dramatic Tunnel Springs Park, or the serene Little Sahara Sand Dunes, etc. Each place has settings that can bring a special charm and vibe to your engagement photos.

Although you can hardly find a flower in this park, the area features bushes and shrubs of almost every kind, giving it a special look. This location is very similar to East Bay engagement photo locations.
Big Cottonwood Canyon is one of the best engagement photo spots in Utah, offering fantastic backdrops in every season. Jordan Pines Campground looks especially beautiful in winter and can bring a wonderland experience to your photography with its majestic evergreens that contribute to a Christmas-like atmosphere. So, I strongly recommend planning your session between late December and early February.
By the way, Solitude and Brighton ski resorts, which offer fantastic scenery all year round, are also situated here. In summer, you will be amazed by the abundance of greenery, whereas in fall, this area appeals to visitors with the whole range of brilliant autumn hues. Pay attention to the fact that dogs are not welcome in Big Cottonwood Canyon.

Canyon Overlook is thought by many engagement photographers as the most advantageous location for shooting Zion Canyon. The light hitting the East Temple in the early morning creates mesmerizing views that are worth being captured.
Tip: It would be reasonable to take hiking shoes with you and then change into the ones you want to wear later. Brides should avoid wearing heels at the overlook, as it would be troublesome to walk around in heels in this area.

The state Capitol attracts visitors throughout the year, but it is especially crowded during a 1-2 week period each spring when the cherries are in full bloom.
