The developers behind Corel DRAW X8 21.1.1.455 strive to conquer new frontiers in the world of graphic design and digital illustrations. The latest updated x8 version comes with improved functionality, streamlined workflows, and a more user-friendly UI, inviting users to increase their level of proficiency and enjoy previously unseen convenience.
Working as a part-time graphic designer and illustrator at the FixThePhoto team, I had a chance to try out Corel DRAW X8 21.1.1.455 before the official release. I decided to create a bunch of logos and marketing assets. I was instantly pleased by the increased accuracy of its features while also noting the faster performance. I think this new version will be to the liking of both experienced users and newcomers to this software.

After finishing testing Corel DRAW X8, there are several aspects I’d like the developers to focus on:
1. Mac support: CorelDRAW’s incompatibility with macOS is very disappointing. Releasing a Mac version would help the software reach new users and make it even more versatile.
2. Online collaboration functionality: Many projects require team collaboration, so having some integrated cloud-based features for sharing files and feedback in real time would be greatly appreciated.
3. Saved projects are compatible with other software: Even though Corel DRAW is compatible with a wide range of file formats, improving its compatibility with Adobe products (like Illustrator and Photoshop) would simplify the task of including this software in the workflow of a professional graphic designer who constantly has to navigate between different solutions.
If you want to find a more affordable alternative to Corel DRAW X8, consider checking out one of the free graphic design solutions we’ve tested that cater to a variety of different creative needs.
