If you are running a Mac, Little Snitch is an extremely useful tool that records every online connection in and around your PC. It also records every keystroke on your keyboard and mouse. This software is designed to help monitor network traffic so that network administrators can isolate and block out any malicious applications or viruses from infecting their network. Little Snitch, also known as IP Gate, is a free host-based software firewall for OS X. It works to block or allow certain programs, restricting or allowing them to access remote networks with advanced rules based on the IP addresses of the computers on the network. A simple click is all that is required in order to allow or prevent programs from running through the firewall. The firewall is able to run by itself or as a part of another program, such as Mac OS X firewall.
