As someone who hosts her own podcast, I decided against using an Adobe Audition CS6 serial number that I found on a pirate site since getting the licensed version is a much safer route. In contrast to most Adobe Audition alternatives, this software simplifies the task of handling several audio tracks simultaneously. I had no problems layering various sound bytes, adding voiceovers, applying audio effects, and more to produce a professional-quality podcast episode.
VST3 effects
The provided effects have impressed me with their quality. I often apply them to improve the sound quality in my podcast, whether it’s reverb or EQing the background tracks I play while talking.
Comprehensive editing with Premiere
The convenient integration with Premiere helped me significantly streamline my workflow. I sent my podcast file to Premiere in a couple of clicks to edit the visuals before importing it back into this audio editing software to apply the finishing touches.
Spectral frequency editor
The spectral frequency editing feature helped me visualize and adjust the sound of my project in a granular fashion. I managed to locate and tweak individual frequencies to improve the sound quality of my podcast, making me happy I used an official serial number for Adobe Audition CS6 and introduced this software into my life.
Inconsistent performance
Struggling to synchronize the software with multiple versions of one audio track was hell for me, really, they just didn't sync right. I felt so frustrated. The second thing is, getting it to record at high sample rates — in a word, an absolute bear with Audition CS6. If you ever would like to produce pro-grade podcasts, this is a must and this version will fail in it.
Restrictions
Even though this tool has an expansive feature set, one of its most glaring omissions is MIDI sequencing support. This was a huge blow to me since I frequently rely on MIDI to create my podcasts.
