Visual Basic is a powerful, third-generation language from Microsoft designed for the component-oriented application environment of Windows and intended for use by novice programmers wishing to create applications. Microsoft designed Visual Basic so that it could be easily learned and used on the industry's typical computers. Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) lets you convert VBA scripts into native code that runs in Visual Basic applications.
