Soundflower has been made by Apple in a collaboration with Creative Labs. This is one of the few OS X applications which allows you to edit, mix and transmit sound from your computer to another program. The great thing about Soundflower is that it is not complicated and doesn't require any complicated software. In fact all the features of Soundflower are built in and can be operated with a single button press.

Soundflower offers several options for recording and transferring audio from your computer to your music project. You can use the built in soundflower record button or connect through Firewire or USB to your Mac computer. There is also a version called on Sheepskin which has the same functionality as the record button. Soundflower can be used as a virtual wireless microphone for remote live performances. By connecting the microphone to your soundcard or a MAC computer, you can have a microphone and transmitter which act like a wireless microphone giving you a real live performance experience.
