Eraser is a free, open source, secure file eraser tool for the Windows platform. It supports both whole disk and file wiping. The "Program" part of the name stands for "probability." The probability that an overwritten file will be overwritten is taken into account when computing the number of wipes. Eraser can work on: FAT32 (formatted), FAT, NTFS, or FAT 32/ FAT 32+ (not formatted).

This software is compatible with the Windows operating systems. What is great about Eraser, is that it is very easy to use and provides a lot of useful functionality. I have used this product for a few years now, and I continue to find new uses for it each day. In addition, the technical support provided with the product is excellent, and I have never had any questions or problems with the software.
