YCopy is an application developed for the purpose of copying blank DVDs to different storage devices. The application is mainly intended for the purpose of DVD redirection. The function works well when a DVD is not properly played back due to some issues. Some people claim that this function does work but the pros and cons of this kind of function differ and so is the reason as to why a person should install this on his computer.

Once installed, YCopy software utility will search the hard drive for existing files of the same title. Once that is found, it will prompt you to choose the title of the file that you want to be copied. You have the option of choosing a DVD or a CD from the list that is displayed and once selected, the copy utility will start the copying process.
