The long awaited release of version 3 of Scrivener is now here, and Version 4.2 for Mac will be soon followed by its release for Windows. This is good news for writers who work with the built in "designed for writers in mind" software to write and create books. The main improvements that are expected from Scrivener for Mac and Scrivener for Windows versions are in the writing function.
Unlike other software, Scrivener for Mac and Scrivener for Windows allows you to use its own editor, rather than having to use Microsoft Word. With the use of this editor you can even edit scanned documents. So, whether you are a seasoned writer or a novice writer who has never used a Word program before, using a Word processor for your writing needs is one more tool to help you out.
