LineIn for Mac allows those with high quality speakers for their Mac systems to play music from various external sources. However, when starting the software, the microphone on the Mac started producing an unpleasant noise. This is quite an odd behaviour for something designed as a transcription tool. Another feature that comes with LineIn is the ability to take two cameras and feed their images through to the text editing programme. Two cameras can be selected by users and their reactions measured using the built-in camera recognition system. The lines of the two cameras are aligned and measured automatically to generate a line in the document, making it easier for the document processor to align the document and read the response.
