Apps Reviewer & Writer

My Experience

I studied tech at Carleton University, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Human-Computer Interaction. I worked as a tech consultant for several small businesses in my home town, Ottawa, helping them integrate innovative applications into their workflows. During this time, I discovered my passion for making technology accessible to everyone - from complete beginners to seasoned creatives.

Now, I help users navigate the vast and often overwhelming universe of professional apps for Android and iOS. I am responsible for testing and reviewing apps for all creative digital areas: photography, videography, graphic design, and more. One of the things I love most about my work is breaking down complex tools into simple, actionable advice for people looking to enhance their creativity and then see their results and my influence on them.

When I’m not working, I’m usually out exploring Ottawa with my camera or experimenting with new editing styles, cause how can I work at FixThePhoto and not take photos on my daily basis. Photography and short vlogs for YouTube are my creative outlets, and I’m always on the lookout for the next app or gadget to try.

Technology and Tools I Use

I like everything I can find about both technology and creativity. Quite long ago, I got interested in mobile photography and began with the iPhone 11. I always keep Halide on my first page to capture stunning low-light shots during an impromptu evening hike. Thanks to manual controls, I am even able to bring out the beauty of the moonlit trail. Later, I started to test Lightroom Mobile, as an Adobe ambassador, to refine the colors and textures, turning those photos into prints I now proudly display – and it’s perfect for all tasks.

I am also fond of videography. LumaFusion and my favorite CapCut are everything I need for vlogs to edit a heartfelt video montage of old clips and new moments we record with the FixThePhoto team. Filmic Pro, with its cinematic controls, has been my companion for travel vlogs, especially when I wanted to capture the vibrant street life in Istanbul.

For Android, I still recommend Snapseed and VSCO. I always recommend Snapseed’s selective editing tool to enhance portraits or selfies mainly, and VSCO’s filters which are unbeatable for adding a nostalgic flair to photo albums. Kinemaster is fitting for quick, polished edits of behind-the-scenes content.

Thanks to my work with FixThePhoto, I get to try cutting-edge apps and software regularly.
