Hardware & Software Testing Specialist

My Experience

I joined the FixThePhoto team a few years ago and now I am a travel blogger and apps & software testing expert who delves into videography gear and new electronics. After years of studying this universe, I know all the fancy cameras, shooting kits, and next-gen apps that make shooting easier and more fun. Originally, it was a hobby only, but then I saw that this may help the people be more successful and decided to move forward in this path and supportive guys from FixThePhoto assisted with that.

In my reviews, I focus on gear with an excellent price-performance ratio, enabling photographers to save costs while taking advantage of the advanced functionality because on my own experience I know how it can be difficult to start filming videos even on your phone.

I have a love-hate relationship with tech when it comes to Apple. Despite testing and reviewing Macs regularly, I can’t bring myself to embrace their ecosystem. That’s why in all my tutorials on video editing, I always stick to recommending Android devices and Windows PCs. They’re flexible, accessible, and way more fun to customize. In my free time, I love photographing and filming my cat, Tim, and watching movies, especially during Oscar and Golden Globe season.

My Expertise Includes:

  • Innovative and vintage videography products
  • Evaluating video editing software
  • Analyzing stabilization tools
  • Comparing audio recording gear
  • Reviewing portable lighting setups
  • Assessing drones for videos
  • Optimizing video production workflows

Technology and Tools I Use

I really like to work with the FixThePhoto team, especially, do our tests with Nataly and Vadym, it’s amazing to collaborate with people who love digital art as much as I do.

Videography has always been more than a hobby for me, I started as an editor at FixThePhoto and now share my test results with beginners in our blog as an expert. With so many tools and gadgets out there, it’s easy to feel lost. Knowing how difficult to find the right equipment when you are just starting your journey, I’m all about finding gear and apps to induce your creativity.

The right tools are key to turning creative ideas into professional video projects. Over the years, I’ve tested countless programs and apps made for videographers, influencers, and creators, finding the ones that truly simplify workflows and deliver high-quality results.

For video editing, my go-to tool is CapCut. Whether I’m editing quick TikToks or Instagram reels, or working on more advanced projects like color grading for cinematic clips, it’s easy to use and powerful enough to grow with your skills.

Stabilization gear, like gimbals, is another must for me. Lighting and drones also play a huge role in my workflow. From portable lights for small setups to drones for breathtaking aerial shots, I’ve explored it all to recommend what really works.
