My Experience

Nowadays I’m a New York-based family photographer and software tester-journalist with a deep interest in ai technology and art. After finally earning a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from NYU, I gained priceless experience assisting some of New York’s most respected photographers and took part in about 100+ wedding photoshoots. This early hands-on work shaped my understanding of both the creative and technical elements of digital and film photos, from lighting and composition to managing high-pressure photoshoots at ceremonies or at a bad weather.

My biggest passion is exploring how software and apps can improve the workflow, I like testing all new apps and tools. Over the years, I’ve developed my own system in evaluating tools specifically personalized for photographers and Insta influencers, focusing on what really speeds up workflows and show results.

For the past five years, I’ve been a part of FixThePhoto mainly as a blogger, where I combine my technical knowledge and creative background to write comprehensive apps and plugins reviews and tutorials. My goal is to help newbie readers make right decisions about software and apps purchase from the first try, ensuring they choose tools that meet their needs and take their work to the next level.

My Expertise Includes:

  • Photo software, apps, plugins, filters
  • Editing tools and programs
  • Apps for creative tasks
  • Specialized tools for influencers
  • Ai-based tools

Technology and Tools I Use

The right tools can make all the difference in turning my creative ideas into professional results I send my clients. Over the years working at FixThePhoto and taking photos of American families, I’ve tested countless programs and apps designed for photographers and by photographers, influencers, and videographers, finding the really working tools that simplify workflows and deliver exceptional quality.

Photoshop has been a foundation of any FixThePhoto member editing toolkit, especially for detailed portrait and body corrections. For managing these large batches of photos, such as after your tenth wedding photoshoot in a week, Lightroom is my go-to. I would call myself a true ambassador of this software, especially its last version with ai cause I use it 24/7 and create tutorials how to work with its mobile version too on the go.

For video editing, Capcut is my trusted choice. I edit short videos for Instagram and TikTok using this tool showing followers our behind-the-scenes, tips, etc. For projects that require intricate color grading or HDR output, such as a cinematic short film for a local nonprofit, Capcut has proven to be a good choice whether you’re total zero in post production or like me, would like to upgrade your skills in it.

Nowadays AI-powered tools have also become an essential part of my workflow. From industry-standard Adobe to cutting-edge AI tools, these apps and tools have been thoroughly tested in my real-world scenarios in family pictures making, helping me - and many others - produce exceptional work efficiently and consistently.
